The following love quote is attributed to Jean Anouilh:
“Love is, above all, the gift of oneself.”
My first thought upon reading this quote was that, if this is the case, then I better work on myself to insure I’m a good gift! 
Furthermore, this process of being “a good gift” is an ongoing and continuing process.
